Hi, I'm Natt!

Born in 1987 in Halle/Saale, I'm easily recognizable by my robe and beak mask - a logical result of my Black Metal work. Underneath, however, I prefer to wear T-shirts with cool motifs. Whether dark, obscure or funny - everything is allowed!

From this love I developed a serious passion and created NattWorld. All the designs here have a direct connection to things that I like or find fascinating. There is a piece of myself in every product. Whether it's sloths, dungeon synth, tentacle monsters, masterpieces of symbolism or icebergs - I feel all of that! And all of that accompanies me in my everyday life.

That's why I invite you to explore the NattWorld. Browse through the different categories and find your new favorite piece - for your very own everyday life.

Music

Music has become one of the most important parts of my life over the course of my youth. I love concerts, go to festivals every year and buy far too many records, cassettes and CDs. I am first and foremost a metal head: good old metal in all its facets is the basis for everything, especially black metal, war metal, pagan metal, classic 80s heavy metal. But beyond that there is also synthwave, ambient, dungeon synth, stoner rock, cold wave, hard rock and krautrock. There is even the odd record with orthodox choirs in my record cabinet...
Through music I have met so many great people and made friends that have enriched my life forever. Make Music, Not War!

Animals

Animals are simply great! They are fluffy, cute, sweet, fascinating, interesting and simply wonderful. They make our planet more beautiful, more colorful and better. Even as a small child, I loved animals, watched them, stroked them and admired them. No matter whether they had fur, feathers, scales, shells or chitin exoskeletons. No matter whether they had hooves, paws, claws, fins or nothing at all. No matter whether they had no legs, four legs, eight arms or a thousand feet: there is a huge place reserved for all of them in my heart!

Cthulhu and Co

I like to read a lot. Especially horror and fantasy. If you follow this path for a while, you will inevitably come into contact with the great master HP Lovecraft. That's what happened to me many years ago. And since then I've been hooked on cosmic horror, unnameable things and glowing trapezohedrons. The Great Old Ones, the Mountains of Madness, The Cats of Ulthar, Cthulhu, Azathoth, Nyarlathotep: no other author has had such a lasting impact on me with his entire work. And most authors who have a similar effect on me are directly or indirectly connected to Lovecraft: Clark Ashton Smith, Robert E. Howard, Lord Dunsany, Clive Barker, Algernon Blackwood, Arthur Machen and so on...
If you haven’t already, READ LOVECRAFT!

Films and cinema

I would love to watch films all day long. And go to the cinema every other day. Unfortunately, that is not possible (at the moment), but my fascination with the moving image is still undiminished. No other medium is as immersive and draws you in. Whether it's big material battles, fine stories, black humor, old black and white films or 80s anime: there are so many great films to discover!

Art

What could be nicer than strolling through an art museum on a rainy day in peace and quiet? The sheer volume of good paintings out there is overwhelming! And there are - and were - so many grand masters of the brush and pencil: Leonardo da Vinci, Albrecht Dürer, Johann Heinrich, Füssli, Edvard Munch, Gustav Klimt, Max Klinger, Sascha Schneider, Theodor Kittelsen, Odilon Redon, Franciso de Goya, Gustave Doré, William Blake, John Savio, Karl Blossfeldt, Anthonore Christensen... This is just a tiny selection of great artists. But in the end, I come across new painters every week. As far as possible, I will immortalize my favorite paintings by them on NattWorld shirts.

Space

Anyone who has ever looked up at the starry sky on a clear, cloudless night will understand the deep fascination with space. Something in this endless emptiness plucks a chord in my soul that I cannot describe. It is a deep calm that comes over me when more and more alien worlds reveal themselves from the supposedly lightless blackness. There are millions of sparkling diamonds that shine out of infinity. Simply beautiful! And we haven't even talked about the fantastic possibilities of alien worlds and future space missions...

Vikings

Hand on heart: who doesn't love them? Born out of a passion for Pagan and Viking Metal, I too have fallen for the - admittedly - clichéd image of the wild and unbridled Northmen. Their wild faces when they wave axes, swords and shields. Their mythology with all the Nordic Aesir and giants like Odin, Freya, Thor, Balder, Loki, Ymir, etc. Their dragon-headed ships. I love everything about it! And the historically accurate approach to this historical era is more than fascinating. Be sure to read the Icelandic Sagas or the Thule books!

Satanic Stuff

For me, nothing is as stylish as satanic symbols and images of the horned one. Pentagrams, Lucifer seals, Leviathan's cross, Baphomet and so on just look unbelievably good! At the same time, they are surrounded by the myth of the forbidden. My socialization through black metal certainly plays a significant role here. But even after more than 20 years, I can say with a clear conscience that my enthusiasm for these motifs and visuals has not diminished in the slightest. So: raise your horns and HAIL SATAN!

NattBilder

Every now and then I pick up a pen and put my enthusiasm for all sorts of things on paper. I'm particularly fond of icebergs and all kinds of fantastic motifs. And since I really like all the motifs and also happen to sell shirts, I take advantage of this situation and combine the two. So I'm particularly happy if you come across my Natt pictures while browsing and maybe another motif ends up in your shopping cart.

Jesus Christ!

Huh? Isn't that completely contradictory to satanic stuff? No, it's not! Because Christianity, with all its forms such as church buildings, liturgy, mythology or graphic representation, still holds an unbroken fascination for me. Whenever I visit a new city, I look at the local church, admire the great church windows, the artistic crucifixes and impressive altars.

Dark and Occult

Old books, forbidden writings, secret knowledge: that's where I thrive! When it comes to witches, magick or secret cults, I'm guaranteed to have my undivided attention. I've always loved rummaging through dusty second-hand bookshops to find another obscure book with dark drawings or illustrations. And when I've found something, the best pictures end up on shirts. Because they look so incredibly good!

Samsarah Art

The fantastic Samsarah has been a loyal companion of Natt for many years. And in addition to her personality, I also love her drawing style. It is unique, cute, concise and simply great. The range of themes in her designs is so incredibly broad! From Lovecraft-inspired motifs to animals and incredibly cute characters, you never know what to expect next. SUPPORT!

Spirituality and Natural Religion

History has always been a hobby of mine. And I am particularly interested in ancient civilizations and mythologies. From ancient Egypt to the Celts, Aztecs, ancient Inuit, etc., I always enjoy reading and learning about new aspects. I could really dig into it when I found a new topic.

Black Metal Sloth

One of my absolute favorite animals is the sloth. It is adorable, always friendly and heartwarming. On a great trip to Costa Rica I was even able to see one live and in the wild. A great adventure! My other great love is now black metal. So why not just combine the two? And ta da! The concept of the black metal sloth is complete. The cute little creatures in high-contrast corpse paint are just awesome and rock! Or are they?

Grimbock Records

In addition to excessive music consumption, I have also been making music myself for many years. Everything is bundled together on Grimbock Records. Have a listen! From black metal and death metal to ambient and neo folk, there is a lot to discover. And the official merch for all projects is only available here in the NattWorld.

Weird Medieval Art

Medieval art can be very, very, VERY strange. And from today's perspective, incredibly funny! Every now and then I dig into the subject matter and look for absurd and abstruse motifs from the Middle Ages. There are so many images suitable for a T-shirt: funny cats, pelicans killing themselves, scalping monks - wonderful!

Dinosaurs and prehistoric times

This topic is pure childhood for me. I had the dinosaur magazine, dinosaur books and lots of dinosaur figures to play with. Dinosaurs accompanied me for many years from my childhood to my youth - and they still do! What could be cooler than giant lizards that have occupied every imaginable habitat for millions of years? EVERYONE knows T-Rex, Allosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Stegosaurus, Triceratops, Velociraptor, Deinonychus, Brachiosaurus! And let's not forget the marine and flying reptiles: Pteranodon, Plesiosaurus, Mosasaurs... Nothing but love for these animals that unfortunately became extinct far too early!

Funny and Miscellaneous

Unfortunately, I can't create my own collections for all areas of interest. So, at the end, there's the big NattWorld leftover box. Everything that Natt likes and is interested in but doesn't fit into any previous category can be found here: philosophy, Japanese culture, Bigfoot, Art Nouveau, fruit, vegetables, railways, gaming, peace, weird core and so on and so forth. Everything is mixed up, nothing fits together. But that's exactly why this is perhaps the best and most exciting of all the areas!
