The Deutsche Lovecraft Gesellschaft e. V. (dLG) is dedicated to the critical examination of the works of the American author Howard Phillips Lovecraft and their contemporary interpretation. The association was founded in 2014 and now has over 400 active members from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The members are united by their enthusiasm for the stories and protagonists created primarily in the 1920s, whether by Lovecraft himself or by his numerous author acquaintances who took up and further developed his work. The dLG supports a wide range of artists, projects and events.

In addition, the dLG publishes FHTAGN, a free role-playing system available free of charge, with regular new scenarios. To promote diversity and creativity, FHTAGN uses only public domain content from the pen of H. P. Lovecraft or other secure public domain sources. This allows role-playing authors to create their own material for commercial and non-commercial purposes with the FHTAGN system without hesitation.
