The Deutsche Lovecraft Gesellschaft e. V. (dLG) is dedicated to the critical examination of the works of the American author Howard Phillips Lovecraft and their contemporary interpretation. The association was founded in 2014 and now has over 400 active members from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The members are united by their enthusiasm for the stories and protagonists, primarily created in the 1920s, whether by Lovecraft himself or by his numerous author acquaintances who took up and further developed his work. The dLG supports a wide range of artists, projects, and events.

In addition, the dLG publishes FHTAGN, its own free role-playing game system, for which new scenarios are regularly released. To promote diversity and creativity, FHTAGN exclusively uses public domain content from H. P. Lovecraft or other secured public domain sources. This allows role-playing authors to create their own material for commercial and non-commercial purposes using the FHTAGN system without any concerns.
